Had a fantastic breakfast this morning! The eggs Benedict were absolutely delicious, perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and a great balance of flavors. The coffee was just as good, smooth and full of flavor, exactly what I needed to start the day. The service was great too; Andrei, our waiter, was friendly and attentive, he offered good recommendations. Overall, a lovely experience ! I’ll definitely be back!

Very noisy rooms. Can hear every noise from next rooms and rooms above through the night as well as the plumbing from other rooms. Could not sleep at night with all the noise. Bathroom not cleaned well. No way to contact reception and when I called from my phone through the website no one ever answers. Not worth the price for this below standard service or 0 service actually. There were tea bags in the room but no kettle to boil water. Very disappointing experience. Stay away!

Beautiful and cozy rooms in a lovely environment. The bathtub is perfect and we loved the small details (robes, welcome drinks, Wellington boots, reading book, ect.) We would definitely come back!

Well.. just go there. The room was fabulous, styled to perfection with a nice view to the stream outside. There was a bath next to the bed, outside the bathroom, which is odd but turned out to be amazing. The food was exceptionally good (dinner and breakfast), and the setting with the fireplace was just perfect. There was a cauliflower soup which was the most delicate and silky with perfect taste. Absolutely divine! We enjoyed every aspect, highly recommend.

Okay this place is a must. I’d rate it more than 5 star. Everything is excellent the rooms the service and the food all brilliant. I really wasn’t expecting it. It’s a hidden gem try for yourself.

Stayed here over new years and was just incredible, our waitress for our pod dinner was called Paula and she gave a 10/10 service and made our NYE dinner that much better!

Have been coming here for monthly team meetings since summer 2024 and really want to emphasise how lovely is this venue with top notch food quality always provided. We just had a xmas lunch here as a team and we were all blown away by the standard of the meals. Truly excellent, and definitely well worth the 1.5hr drive for those of us who live further away.

Amazing food and service. I'm so pleased we found this before we left the Cotswolds. We had an amazing Sunday roast and the ayatyer of cauliflower bang bang. My husband had beef, and I had the turkey. The Yorkshire were some of the bed I have ever tasted. I loved them. We will definitely visit again on our next Cotswolds adventure. Theresplebtry if parking and it's dog friendly - perfect!!!!

Could not recommend this hotel enough, the staff are absolutely amazing, friendly and couldn't be more accommodating! Special thank you to Angel, Kieran and Harvey as they went out of their way for us, you made our stay special. The hotel itself is very pretty and right across the road from the reindeers. The rooms were cozy and spacious and beds were very comfy. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Not usually one for leaving reviews but we had just the most wonderful night away celebrating our anniversary. Staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, the decor is stunning! The river view from our suite was lovely too. So many extra little touches; welcome drink, decanter of sloe gin, robes & pillow spray to name a few. They went to extra lengths to make our stay special with a complementary upgrade, delicious chocolates and handwritten card. The roll top bath was an absolute treat! Breakfast was included, it was both delicious and plentiful. We really did feel very spoilt and have returned home relaxed and ready to plan our next visit! Thank you Wild Thyme and Honey.

Myself and my parter recently attended a wedding at the venue. The location and room facilities were excellent and the evening was a wonderful experience. However the breakfast team managed to dampen the experience by seating us then proceeding to ignore us for 40 minutes as we waited to order breakfast, despite my attempts to signal a member of staff over, meaning we missed the breakfast cuttoff time. A very disappointing end to what was otherwise a lovely experience.

A real gem in the Cotswold area. Close to most of the historic towns. Very very pet friendly. Great location, next to small water brook and walking paths. Service is great and staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms are really charming with a lot of attention to detail to make it modern and comfortable but maintain the rustic charm. Some of these were real wood fireplaces all over the hotel, complimentary Wellington boots for guests for walks/hikes, glass roof on reception area, candles along the corridors and staircases, milk bottle in the morning (not sure for what), shoe cleaning brushes outside each room. The rooms are a bit small but beautifully done and the accessories in the room include bedside plants, lavender spray for pillows, bedside hanging lamps made of rope and stone, lots of amenities in the bathroom, hair dryer, excellent showers and a bathtub, and so much more. Rooms have underfloor heating which is amazing in cold weather! The best part was the outdoor dining area for glass domes for ‘dinner for two’ by the water!

The most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. Every detail had been so well thought out and the staff were really kind and welcoming. Everything felt so personal - there was even a hand written card to congratulate us on our anniversary and a room upgrade, which was such an amazing surprise. We can’t wait to return!

The most beautiful stay in the Cotswolds. The service within the hotel was incredible and the suggested perks for booking direct were all held to. We received a complimentary upgrade and alcoholic drinks of our choice on arrival. I called to make my reservation and was offered a price match from an alternative provider. Within the room all touches were personalised including a card and chocolates. The food within The Crown was incredibly however unfortunately the service wasn’t so good. We gently complained and were generously compensated. We can’t wait to return.

If I could live here, I would! This place is amazing. Very cozy with great service. Stayed here twice and I will plan to stay again! This place for feels more like my home than my actual home. I didn’t want to leave!

I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the UK. This has to be one of the best. The staff , amenities and the room are above expectations. The only con is parking which can be difficult to find during meal times.

Stay here a bit for work when I'm Cirencester and that feels like a bit of a treat. Beautiful rooms, beautiful location, superb food. I have probably recommended this place to everyone I spoke to since staying there the first time. It would be a beautiful little spot to take a loved one for a cosy weekend in the countryside

Stayed here midweek for our anniversary during the summer holidays and can’t recommend it enough. The entire place both pub and rooms have been so well done and have such a nice feel throughout. We were upgraded to the No3 London Road room and it was the nicest room we have ever stayed in. The room itself was perfect but having the outdoor space next to the brook with our own private hot tub and sauna was something else! We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both meals were delicious, with a small continental buffet breakfast as well as being able to order a hot meal too! Would 100% recommend and will be back again in the future.
